My client's products are in very high demand with global technology customers situated across the world. They are in rapid growth mode and are looking to add a new Engineering Manager with power electronics / power supply design experience to their team in Gloucester, Massachusetts.

They were already growing. They have seen a +20% increase in revenue and headcount every year for the past 5 years which meant that last year their turnover was in excess of $500 million. With the dramatic increase in orders this year, this is likely to be much higher in the coming years.

They are now investing into the expansion of their team in Massachusetts by adding a skilled and experienced Engineering Manager who will be responsible for the development of complex power management products for medical, robotic and next generation automated manufacturing applications.

The successful Engineering Manager will have a track record of managing successful electronics design teams. They will help build and drive the team through product maturity and release.

Job requirements as an Engineering Manager:

• Provide engineering/technical leadership to the engineering group.
• Drive the development of derivative power management products and match products from a base platform.
• Drive product maturity though reliability, DFX and analysis with cross functional team.
• Drive team to produce high quality product documentation, test and process for use in the factory of record
• Build and mentor the development team.
• Provide operations support and guidance for ongoing production.

Experience needed as an Engineering Manager:

• Relevant industrial experience as a technical manager/lead
• Ability to drive engineering deliverables in a hands-on fashion when needed.
• Experience with power electronics / electrical engineering.
