A leading technology company based in Maidenhead, Berkshire are looking for an Engineering Manager – R&D. The business is part of a global group and continues to grow year on year, with sites both in the UK and overseas.
The Engineering Manager – R&D will be managing a mixed-disciplined R&D team which will consist of Software and Electronics Engineers working on a range of projects for clients globally.
Responsibilities of the Engineering Manager – R&D job:
- Lead the UK design team (approximately 10 Software & Electronics engineers)
- Deliver the roadmap and work closely with the product management team
- Work to build a high-performing engineering team and culture
Key skills / experience required for the Engineering Manager – R&D job:
- A software or hardware design background
- Proven experience of managing software and hardware development projects
- A strong product development background and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Experience of working within and line managing a multi-disciplined design team
