Engineering Technician Job available in Cambridgeshire
A market leader in the instrumentation market are looking for a Engineering Technician to join their growing R&D team. They are market leaders in their industry and are growing year on year.
As the new Mechanical Engineering Technician you will provide broad technical support to the Engineering projects of the company. You will also take on experimental bench-work as well as performing a broad mix of engineering tasks (mechanical, electrical, optical, system testing) in accordance with instructions provided by the Lead Test Engineer.
The ideal Engineering Technician will have:
- Experience with Instrument assembly, test or service in a development / R&D environment
- Experience with installation, maintenance and operation of in-house test equipment
- Mechanical workshop experience
- Good self-discipline, demonstrating reliability, dependability and tenacity
