1 Who is TouchNetix?
TouchNetix was founded in 2010 to bring capacitive touch technology to the broadest possible range of applications and customers through deep knowledge and passion for the technology. Apps Engineering – Being a member of the global applications/projects team supporting project engineering for touch panels incorporating tuning, testing and understanding the complete solution.
Providing on-site field support for TouchNetix customers as and when required and supporting the sales organisation with technical support and on-site presentations.
Providing support, office and field based for all aspects of the aXiomTM product line.

4 Reporting line
The role reports to the UK Apps Team but on a day-to-day basis FAEs will be directed by projects and sales/operations depending on where the support is required.
5 Location
The main focus of this role is central Europe. The location of the incumbent is most likely to be from Germany, Austria and Switzerland but other countries may be considered. Substantial travel will be required within the EU as well as the UK and some international travel.
On-site training will be provided in the UK. This could be for prolonged periods and is likely to account for 50% of the working time in the first year of employment.

6 Job qualification and experience requirements
6.1 Mandatory A degree (or close international equivalent) in Electronics or Physics (2-1 or better).
Other subjects will be considered if the candidate can display good aptitude in the required disciplines
Significant customer facing experience in a technical role Comfortable and confident in front of customers with high level interpersonal skills A background in semiconductors Hands-on experience of electronic circuit design and debug (2+ years) Complete product lifecycle design and support experience Excellent command of written and spoken English Commercial awareness
