AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A FIELD SERVICE SPECIALIST TO JOIN A GLOBAL LEADING COMPANY SPECIALISING IN OPTICAL TECHNOLOGY FOR THE PHOTONICS MARKET!
The client is a global operating technology group providing optical technologies to the photonics market based in North West England, products are used in all industries and its expertise ranges from testing individual optical components to assembling and testing complex camera systems. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Specialist to join the team and work within the Order Fulfilment department reporting to a Regional Field Team Manager. You will support the design, build and installation of new permanent and temporary projects.
Key Responsibilities for The Field Service Specialist role in North West England:
- Experience required for the Field Service Specialist role in North West England is to gain a strong technical knowledge of the supplied product range, while maintaining a strong customer focus.
- The role will be split between working on customer sites and will require some UK wide travel often staying away and working unsociable hours.
- Under the guidance of the FOM, support the design, configuration, and Installation of new projects.
- Provide pre-technical support to sales, activities could include site surveys, solution design, customer meetings, job costing, and negotiations with third parties.
- Assisting with the installation of equipment on site
Experience required for the Field Service Specialist in North West England:
- Electrical/Electronic Installation and Maintenance background
- Electromechanical service background
- Ability to build and manage customer relationships
