A new FPGA Design Engineer – VHDL job has recently come available with an established research and development company in Linlithgow Scotland, just west of Edinburgh. They have been running for 12 years and they have just shy of 100 employees. The growth continues with an additional requirement for an FPGA Design Engineer. Their offices are commutable from parts of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and Falkirk.

The successful hire will be responsible for creating high-speed FPGA designs using VHDL. You will work closely with digital design engineers and PCB design engineers to create new product features for complex electronics.

Key skills / experience required for the FPGA Design Engineer – VHDL job:

• Experience with FPGA design using VHDL (or Verilog).
• Ability and experience in designing products from initial specification through to prototype phase.
• Ability to design, test and verify FPGAs.
• To hold a relevant engineering degree (Electronics, FPGA, Embedded Systems, etc.)
