We are looking for an energetic, bright self-motivated Quality Manager or Senior Quality Engineer who has a passion for quality who can help lead the company in the next stage of its development.  The Head of Quality should be a critical thinker and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

The Head of Quality post will form part of the Senior Management team and will work closely with the board and other key member of the business. Key Responsibilities:

• Present and be the main interface on key account quality issues within Europe and in still confidence.
• Expand and improve on existing processes utilizing technology and create robust processes across multiple sites.
• Collaboration with other departments and utilization of quality tools to help drive RCCA.
• Provide leadership of the quality organization to help drive a proactive approach with improvements within design, manufacturing, suppliers and customers.  
• Identify and further develop KPI’s within the business to help drive towards Operational Excellence.
• Lead monthly management reviews for the European leadership team in helping drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering as needed to determine root cause of customer and in-process failures.
• Further enhance the organization through the use and implementation of various tools such quality plans, process flows, FMEA, DOE.
• Drive and promote a culture of quality within the organization.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

The candidate will ideally come from the electronics industry with in-depth technical knowledge of electronic manufacturing and design concepts. We are looking for the following attributes:

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and successfully in a team environment.
• Familiarity with quality principles; including 8D, fish bone, FMEA’s.
• Travel required <15%.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering preferred.
• 10 years of experience in leading a team.
