HIGH-SPEED DIGITAL / FPGA DESIGN ENGINEER JOB AVAILABLE IN DARTFORD, KENT

A leading broadcast organisation based in Dartford, Kent are looking to add a High-Speed Digital / FPGA Design Engineer to join their R&D team.

This company develop state-of-the-art audio / video processing, and interfacing systems which are used for broadcasting purposes within various industries. They have over 35 years experience and have sites all over the globe. With more projects coming in and a determination to further develop their tech they are seeking multiple bright & enthusiastic engineers to join their team.

As the High-Speed Digital / FPGA Design Engineer you will be responsible for working on the full product lifecycle of High-Speed Digital / FPGA design, from concept through to manufacture. This will involve working on the system level design, and board level architecture.

Skills & Experience required:

  • Previous experience in designing complex systems with highspeed digital circuits and FPGAs (VHDL / Verilog).
  • Exposure to memory and peripheral interfaces, such as – DDR, PCI Express, AXI.
  • Experience in designing embedded microcontrollers / microprocessors.
  • Prior experience or exposure to digital audio / visual interfaces (HDMI, Display ports, USB, UART, etc. would be beneficial but NOT essential.
  • If you have obtained a relevant electronics engineering degree that would also be beneficial.
