Job Title                     HR and Payroll Advisor

Reporting to              VP of R&D and HRBP (China)

Location                     Whiteley, Fareham, Hampshire

 

Job Purpose

 

HR and Payroll Advisor is responsible for managing the human resources function and processes to meet business needs whilst retaining and attracting highly valued employees. This role involves working at both operational and management level to ensure all HR activities are met.  

 

Main Duties: –

  • Responsible for monthly payroll using ADP for UK employees; reporting annually information required for P60s and P11Ds
  • Manage annual employee benefit renewals to ensure best value and provision for employees and company, work closely with benefit providers and promote to employees.
  • Manage activities required for the provision of a Company Group Pension Fund.
  • Own the recruitment cycle from recruitment, interviewing, producing offers, relocation and onboarding new starters
  • Assures compliance with country/statutory regulations relating to employment practices, wage and salary administration.
  • Be a subject matter expert on compensation and benefit, talent management and employee relations.
  • Develop, implement and execute HR policies and processes that enable business growth and effectiveness
  • Sustain performance management and salary reviews as required
  • Co-ordinate training/development needs, may involve organising and working with 3rd party providers
  • Produce weekly and monthly HR analytics and headcount information data for finance, VP and HQ in China
  • Ensure Health and Safety activities are complaint with UK legislation
  • Be the one point of contact for all HR, training, payroll enquires for the UK team
  • Lead HR improvements to ensure HR process are efficient and responsive
  • Manage and monitor absence and holiday reporting
  • Off board leavers and complete exit interviews
  • Provide coaching and support to guide employee development
  • Set up Wellness activities to promote employee engagement and wellbeing.

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • BA in Business Adminstration, Human Resources or related field
  • CIPD accredited
  • Previous experience in actively managing company payroll and employee benefits

 

 

Ideal candidate is comfortable dealing with a wide range of tasks and is adaptive to changing business needs. Must have strong administrative experience.

Candiates must have the self confidence to push through issues while maintaining relationships and overcoming obstacles.

Candates will also have a proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances.

This role is stand alone so candidate must have ability to be autonomous; proactive; self driven and comfortable in making decisions as required.

Must have a passion to make a difference with a track record of rolling out new initiatives and new ways of working.
