HR & OFFICE MANAGER JOB IN CAMBRIDGE, CAMBRIDGESHIRE
A successful technology business in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire are looking for a HR & Office Manager to join their team. They design and manufacture a range of electronic products used in the security, aerospace, military and industrial industries.
Key responsibilities of the HR & Office Manager job:
- Be the first point of contact for any HR queries and look after all HR administration
- Ensure all training records are kept up to date, co-ordinate staff appraisals, administer staff leave and liaise with staff regarding the benefits package
- Attend and take minutes of meetings with senior managers and support the MD with diary management and arranging meetings
- Handle all of the recruitment for the business – advertise vacancies (on company website and with recruitment agencies) and liaise with recruitment agencies, candidates and manager to arrange interviews etc
- Manage the on-boarding for new staff members (background checks, arrange inductions, create new-starter packs)
- Manage day to day running of the office (building maintenance, car fleet, insurances, stationery etc)
- Arranging company events, meetings and organising refreshments and working lunches
Key requirements of the HR & Office Manager job:
- Experience of working in a similar role at a senior level is essential
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality for both the company and employees
- The ability to prioritise your own workload whilst being flexible and adaptable
- This job is office based and is on the North side of Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
