My client is the most prestigious company in this industry and have been operating longer than many of their competitors. This means they have an amazing network of clients and customers and this allows them to dominate their competition.

The Teesside site is renowned for its H2 production and are actively developing technologies to ultimately increase the share of renewably produced hydrogen. Their long-term aim is to significantly increase the sustainable share in the hydrogen mix using renewable energy sources such as wind, water, and biomass.

The Hydrogen Shift Manager will be responsible for managing the UK's largest hydrogen production plant in England.

You will need the following experience to be considered.

• Ideally you will be educated to HNC in an engineering subject
• A broad knowledge of Steam Methane Reformer operation or similar plant is desirable
• You will need to have an aptitude for problem solving, planning, and coping with the demands of operating, and leading a team under pressure
• Proficiency in the production of regular management reports and the ability to own and manage issues of an inter-disciplinary nature will be important attributes
• You will also need to be an excellent communicator, a good decision-maker, and be able to demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and initiative. NEBOSH certificate preferred
• You will manage the Permit to Work systems and should have a good understanding of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD).
