An exciting opportunity for an IT Support Technician has become available with a well-established technology company based in Lymington, Dorset.
The role will be reporting into the Head of IT and will be supporting the users in their day–to-day activities by managing IT requests and monitoring systems – this will cover both on-site, off-site and on the shop floor.
Key responsibilities of the IT Support Technician job:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for both on-site and off-site users
- Carry out hardware upgrades and software applications installations
- Monitor servers, Active Directory, data back ups and network health
- Office 365 / Exchange / Teams support
Key skills / experience required for the IT Support Technician job:
- Experience of troubleshooting hardware, software and networking issues
- Experience of domain based Windows OS devices
- Good working knowledge of Office 365 / Teams / MS Exchange
- VMWare virtualization experience
- The ability to manage and prioritise own workload whilst working both alone and part of a team
