The drug discovery and development process is long and expensive with many setbacks. At

applications for: Student Software Engineer – 1 Year Placement Salary: £competitive + Benefits + attractive holiday allowance Hours of Work: 35 hours per week (9am – 5pm), Hybrid working, based from our City Centre Sheffield Office
Responsibilities
As a Student Software Engineer you will gain experience in developing applications for Windows following company guidelines and implementation documents. Your responsibilities
will involve implementing additional features into the Simcyp Simulator as well as other
products used both internally and externally.
You will develop in Visual Studio and improve your skills in both C# and C++ including using C#
WPF for modern looking user interfaces using the latest technologies.
In addition your professional skills will be improved by being exposed to team development procedures, following implementation documents and time management skills to meet
deadlines. You will also develop your communication skills by being included in meetings /
discussions with the science department as well as potentially dealing with clients.
Qualifications
Necessary:
• Good time keeping and problem-solving skills
• Be enrolled on an appropriate undergraduate course
• C# and C++ skills and knowledge
Desirable:
• Skills and knowledge of WPF, SQL and ASP.NET
