Job Description

This is an incredibly varied role working on test automation for industrial products where you will expand your knowledge of new test development environments. Reporting to the Global Test Automation Manager, you will be primarily supporting the next generation actuator platform creating a flexible, scalable and secure industrial IoT platform for Rotork.

 

In this role you will support many facets of the product lifecycle, from developing key test infrastructure to developing and executing automated/ manual test scripts. You will support the development of test automation framework and ultimately collaborate with wider teams to resolve discovered issues like product development and manufacturing.

 

The ideal candidate will be a team player who is eager to learn and develop their own skill set whilst being comfortable adapting to new technologies and products.

 

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

 

Essential Competencies

 

Experience in developing automated test solutions in one or more test development environments (Python / LabVIEW / TestStand).

Developing mechanical and electrical test interfaces.

Design and development of test PCBAs or bed of nails interfaces.

Dealing with internal and external 3rd parties for equipment fabrication and development.

Experience in a test / verification role reviewing requirements and developing test cases.

Experience in developing automated test scripts in a suitable development environment.

Desirable Competencies

 

Experience of design and development packages including Solid Edge and Altium

Test rig design and development experience.

Experience of working in an agile environment

LabVIEW / TestStand Certifications (CLD, CTD)

Experience of Python Test Frameworks

Understanding of industrial systems and protocols

Experience with source code control (e.g. GIT / SVN).
