Lead Process Safety Engineer – Chemical Processing
Rotherham, South Yorkshire
£60 – £75k Basic Salary + 10% Bonus, Car Allowance, Buy Sell Holiday, Option to work x4 day week, Good Pension, Flexible working hours

We are looking for a Lead Process Safety Engineer with experience in chemical processing based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire to join a global leader in the Chemical Processing Industry. My client is a truly global established business with an excess of 60,000 employees. They thrive from excellent staff retention and invest heavily in the ongoing training and development of staff supporting further education and bespoke training. They are seeking a Lead Process Safety Engineer to lead their growing process safety department.
The Lead Process Safety Engineer will be the technical lead in a team of Process Safety Specialists based in the UK. These Engineers are regularly carrying out process safety competence assessments on top tier COMAH sites, applying risk management tools/ techniques (HAZID, PHR, HAZOP, QRA, LOPA, FTA, etc.) And then preparing the relevant Safety Case reports.
The requirements for the Lead Process Safety Engineer are:
> Degree qualified, preferably in Chemical or Process Engineering or equivalent eg. Chartered Engineer / IChemE
> Experience in – but not limited to- COMAH studies, quantified risk assessment techniques, human factors, process safety, among others.
