Lead RF System Architect job available in Watford, Hertfordshire (West London)

A very exciting opportunity has come available to join a company with over 30years in developing RF communications equipment. Their products range from DC to 30 GHz and operate in aerospace, satellite operations, broadcast, marine, and government sectors.

We’re looking for a Lead RF System Architect who can assist with the design and development of a range of equipment for digital intermediate frequency. You will work closely with other RF, DSP and FPGA engineering specialists to design these digitalised RF products and modules.

What skills and experience are needed from you?

• You will need to have a strong background in RF System Architecture.
• An understanding of wideband digitisation.
• Ability to understand data-converter specifications and error sources.
• Exposure to DSP algorithms using Matlab or FPGA design using VHDL would be beneficial but not essential.
• Any experience with SDR (software defined radio) would also be beneficial but not essential
