As the Lead Test Engineer for Finals in Eastbourne, East Sussex, you will take on line management responsibilities for the Test Support Team, ensuring effective support for all finals Test Systems in Operations. This role involves identifying priorities, assigning work, and providing both first-line and long-term support.
To succeed as a Lead Test Engineer Job you will need:
- Lead the Test Support Team, ensuring effective front-line and long-term support for all finals Test Systems.
- Oversee Recruitment and Training of the Test Support Team, including personal development and annual reviews.
- Collaborate with Operations Team Leaders to identify priorities and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor FTTFR metrics in Production and report to formal monthly meetings.
- Implement Continuous Improvement strategies to reduce failures in line with targets.
- Identify unreliable test equipment and justify corrective actions or replacements.
- Manage the implementation of test-related engineering change documents (ECDs).
- Liaise with Senior Management and other company departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Experience with TestStand.
