A leading research and development organisation, based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire are seeking a bright and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their expanding engineering division.
My client are one of the market leaders in their industry and are a global organisation.
As the Manufacturing Engineer Produce relevant engineering reports to feedback to suppliers and be the first point of contact to provide technical support to the manufacturing team (on both electronics and mechanical areas). Setup, maintain and service test equipment to support production outputs. Document manufacturing processes and create instructions as required in line with company objectives.
Skills / experience required for the Manufacturing Engineer job:
- Experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of 5S / Lean / Kaizen concepts
- Problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of production engineering methods, improvement programs
- Programming knowledge of visual basic for application (VBA) in Excel is essential
