My client specialises in delivering bespoke components which are used in innovative laser steering applications.
As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for improving product and project processes within a busy manufacturing facility. You will assist and support the business in implementing and improving new processes using a range of tools and methodologies including 5s, FMEA and six sigma.
Main Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer job:
- Drive forward process improvement projects.
- Support both product development and assembly.
- Investigate operational issues.
- Provide specialist input to customer communications
Skills / Experience required for this Manufacturing Engineer job:
- Proven experience in a Manufacturing Engineer role
- Must have experience in process improvement.
- Experience in Continuous improvement would be advantageous.
- Experience working in busy manufacturing facility (component manufacture would be ideal)
- Strong understanding in using production data to drive process improvements.
