Position Details:
- Title: Manufacturing Technician
- Responsible To: Heads of Engineering
- Location: Hayes, Greater London
As a Manufacturing Technician, you’ll play a pivotal role in collaborating with their Applied Science and Tubes Engineering teams in Hayes, Greater London. You will:
- Develop and test advanced assembly techniques.
- Assemble high-precision parts and products.
- Participate in the design process for innovative technologies.
- Facilitate the seamless transfer of new techniques to production teams in Hayes, Greater London.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies.
What You’ll need for the Manufacturing Technician job:
- Expertise in assembly techniques like welding and laser welding.
- Working with precision at small scales.
- Understanding of vacuum systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of materials and processes for vacuum technology products.
Qualifications:
- ONC level relevant qualification or equivalent experience (HNC desirable).
