A leading electro-mechanical component design and manufacturer based in Cambridge are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their engineering & manufacturing organisation, at their location in Cambridge. As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, analysing and prototyping products and components for electronic products. This will involve 3D CAD design using SolidWorks and Creo, as well as assembly, testing and product configurations (using a PDM system). You will be provided with support and training to develop your skills as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
To apply for the Mechanical Design Engineer job based in Cambridge you will need to have:
- Experience in a 3D CAD design, using SolidWorks.
- Ability and industrial experience in designing and developing mechanical enclosures.
- Use of a PDM system such as DDM would be beneficial but not essential.
- Creo experience would be beneficial but not essential.
- Exposure to electronics / electrical design would also be beneficial.
