A Mechanical Design Engineer – ASME Codes / Pressure Systems job has come available with a leading research and development organisation based in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Following another very successful financial year, this company are looking to add multiple engineers to their R&D team in Cambridgeshire.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer – ASME Codes / Pressure Systems you will be responsible for 3D CAD Design of pressure equipment and sampling systems using Autodesk Inventor. You will assist with documentation, including BOMs (Bill of Materials) and working to ASME quality and design standards.
Skills / Experience required for this job:
- Mechanical design engineering (3D and 2D) using Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD or similar.
- Experience in working with ASME design and quality standards.
- Ability to design from concept through to manufacture / production.
- Design experience for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or similar would be beneficial but not essential.
- An understanding manufacturing, welding, and fabrication techniques.
You will work in brand new offices, walking distance from Ely railway station. This job comes with: 25 days annual leave, 5% pension, and healthcare scheme. Working hours are 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
