A leading design and manufacturer of complex electro-mechanical machinery are seeking an experienced Mechanical Production Engineer to join their growing R&D centre in Bridgend, Wales (near Cardiff). This company has been running for nearly 30 years, they operate across the UK, Europe and USA. Their technology is vital to rail, aerospace, telecoms, medical, and automotive industry companies. We are currently in the process of expanding their manufacturing Team.

As a Mechanical Production Engineer you will provide mechanical engineering support for current products, to enhance productivity, reliability and continuity of performance and build.

You will personally design high value systems which will be used across the globe. 

What skills and experience is required from you for the Mechanical Production Engineer role:

• The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree/HNC level in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Science, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• The candidate will have a minimum 2~3 years’ experience in a process/technical support environment.
• Experience in a toolmaking environment with hands on experience of machining and fabrication would be advantageous.
