A leading research and development organisation, based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk are a seeking a bright and ambitious Opto-electronics Engineer to join their product development team. Key responsibilities of the Opto-electronics Engineer job:
- Support existing and new products in manufacturing
- Analyse and design for optical performance, including use of optical and electrical simulation tools
- Prototype assembly, testing, fault finding and optical alignment.
- Support entire project lifecycle including support to qualification and verification activities.
Key Skills / Experience required for the Opto-electronics Engineer job:
- A strong Electronics Engineering background with proven experience in electronics design
- A practical understanding of microelectronics assembly
- Experience in the Aerospace or similar industries would be advantageous
- Willingness to be involved in all aspects of practical engineering, including assembly and test of prototypes hardware
Candidates must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.
