My client, who are based in their own custom build design facility in Coventry, are looking for an ambitious Power Electronics Development Manager who can help them take their products to the next level and achieve global success.

You will lead, manage and grow the team who will develop complete systems, from concept through to production, to deliver high voltage (5-10 kV), high power (1-5kW) and high frequency (10-100 kHz) outputs.

You will deliver on projects by managing the technology strategy, roadmap delivery and project milestones as well as championing best practice in the team.

Who you are:

As a successful manager you will be a strong leader and be able to motivate your team to achieve their goals. This is the most critical part of the role and we will want to hear your strategies for success.

You should also be able to lead and deliver product development from requirements capture through to approvals and launch / post launch support. 

Ideally you would have experience working with AC voltages 5kV and above and power 1KW and above.  It would be desirable if you have experience working in a related industry such as automotive, marine, rail, mining etc.
