A world-leading design and manufacturer of electronic products are seeking a skilled and experienced Power Electronics Test and Development Engineer – SMPS who is competent in electronic test, failure and root cause analysis, and re-development for electronics and power supplies. You will work in the company’s engineering and manufacturing facilities, in Reading, and take responsibility for re-developing products, failure analysis and repair processes, root cause investigation, and customer reports for low-power analogue products and power supplies.

Job requirements:
- To have a background in electronic testing and development – schematics, electronic drawings, circuit design.
- Experience with failure and root cause analysis.
- Previous experience with power supplies in essential.
- Ability to work individually and within a team environment.
- Soldering experience would be beneficial but not essential.
