A leading research & development organisation, who are in the process of expanding to new offices in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, are seeking a skilled Principal RF Design Engineer – Aerospace / Defence to join their growing engineering team. They have over 120 employees and have 5 locations across the UK, America and Asia. They are looking to add to their team in Watford.
In this job you will design next generation satellite communication systems and components that are being used in telecommunication networks across the globe. You will be responsible for designing and develop a range of RF & Microwave products over the spectrum of IF, L-Band, C-Band, X-Band, Ku-, K- and Ka-Bands. You will predominantly focus on development up to 6GHz but will also assist with a range of RF technology up to 40GHz.
The ideal Principal RF Design Engineer based in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire will have the following experience:
- Experience in RF Design up to 6GHz (Ku / Ka Band).
- A strong background in RF design and development of passive and active circuits.
- Exposure to Amplifiers, Splitters & Combiners, Switches, Frequency Converters.
- To have worked within aerospace, defence, satellite communications, space or a similar industry.
