Overview
Element has an exciting opportunity for a Production Administrator to join our rapidly expanding team.
As a member of the planning operations team, the position performs a variety of routine and non-routine administrative assignments within the department assigned under minimal direct supervision.
The position must be proficient in several core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.
The role will provide operational support with administrative and customer service-related tasks.
Responsibilities
o Contributes to the department’s safety performance and awareness, promotes initiatives that drive a culture of safety first.
o Shared team mailbox management & distribution
o Timely and accurate processing of work within the LIMS and system processes
o Attend daily production meetings and action outcomes of the meeting where assigned.
o Support Test sample identification ensuring traceability is maintained.
o Support with the Organization of sub-contract activities as required.
o Support workshop and laboratory activities as and when reasonably necessary.
o Promote 5S housekeeping and drive efficient best practice in all areas.
o Support the Organization of collections and deliveries in a planned and cost-effective manner.
o Daily maintenance of client requested production schedules.
o Carry out other duties as reasonably requested by the Production Supervisor.
Skills / Qualifications
o Working Knowledge of Workplace Safety
o Basic understanding of schedule planning and control.
o Knowledge of relevant health and safety systems and environmental regulations.
o Highly motivated and organized individual with a flexible approach to work
o Excellent attention to detail
o Ability to work flexibly in a busy environment with an established team and processes.
o Ability to work independently.
o Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising the quality of work or safety.
o Ability to input and extract information into standard software applications (word, excel and outlook).
o Ability to use and exploit laboratory information systems effectively and efficiently.
o Ability to develop efficient productive working relationships with all laboratory staff and with customers to achieve an efficient and cost-effective operation.
o Ability to work with staff at all levels to develop and maintain a “team working” culture.
o Possess good computer skills.
o Possess strong communication skills (both written & oral)
