We are looking for someone to lead and inspire the Production Teams to achieve build volume expectations whilst ensuring 100% quality and accuracy. To champion a continuous improvement culture within team, and focus on short term projects, as well as driving and implementing longer term improvement strategies.

Scope of Job

– To monitor operations, processes, equipment and tooling, take action to eliminate / prevent abnormal conditions and issues, and ensure targets are achieved.

– To co-ordinate and arrange production resources to achieve required schedules and tasks.

– To maintain and develop a teamwork environment and one that promotes and utilises team driven continuous improvement activities.

– To identify, support and drive short term process, and equipment improvements. To assist/drive the identification, planning and implementation of longer-term process and equipment improvements.

– To provide direction and motivation to Production teams. Lead by example. Ensure robust development / training plans are in place and supported

Knowledge & Skills

5 years minimum demonstrable experience of Line Management role in a team, hi-tech, high-volume manufacturing role (ideally automotive), with experience of managing or co-ordinating production support staff.

Qualifications and Previous Experience

– Degree Calibre – Ideally HND in Production.

– Engineering and NEBS or other Managerial Qualifications.

– Excellent communication / interpersonal skills.

– Good PC skills.
