Production Supervisor – Rotating Weekday Shifts

📍 Location: [London, East]

🕒 Shifts: Weekday Rotation (42.5 hrs/week) – 2-week pattern

• Days: Monday to Thursday, 06:00 – 17:45
• Nights: Monday to Thursday, 18:00 – 05:45
• 💼 Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent

I’m recruiting for an exciting client of mine who is looking for a driven and experienced Production Supervisor to join their high-performing manufacturing team. Key responsibilities for the Production Supervisor job:

• Lead the safe and efficient delivery of production targets across rotating shifts.
• Supervise, support, and develop a team of technicians and operators.
• Ensure all production activities comply with HSE, quality, and training standards.
• Work closely with Inventory, Engineering, Quality, HR, and Training departments.
• Monitor team performance, maintain metrics, and drive process improvements.
• Be a role model for safety and quality – promoting a proactive STOP culture.
• Respond swiftly to production or quality issues, ensuring timely resolution.

Key skills and experience for the Production Supervisor job:

• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Confident managing a team across rotating day and night shifts.
• Familiarity with production KPIs, lean principles, and health & safety procedures.
• Competent in using systems like SAP and managing training/compliance records.
