NEW PROJECT MANAGER – AEROSPACE/ AVIATION JOB AVAILABLE IN BEDFORD, BEDFORDSHIRE 

A very well-established engineering company who work on power electronic engineering for aerospace and aviation industries are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Aerospace / Avionics to join their team in Bedford. You will be working in a brand new state-of-the-art office in Bedford. This company are growing successfully at the moment and they are looking to add a Project Manager – Aerospace / Avionics to the company who can manage all aspects of the aviation product line within the company. 

Main responsibilities for this Project Manager – Aerospace / Avionics job include:

• Maintaining and revising product Bill of Materials (BOM) and the production line assembly. 
• Reviewing customer specification. 
• Managing and continuously improving Engineering Activity Processes regarding the product line. 
• Managing timescales and budgets in conjuction with the Engineering Manager. 

Technical requirements for this Project Manager – Aerospace / Avionics include: 

• A background in avionics / aviation engineering, ideally within a R&D company. 
• Previous experience in project engineering or product management. 
• Exposure to basic CAD drawings and Electrical / Electronic products / systems. 
• Exposure to an Enterprise Resource Planning system would be beneficial but not essential. 
• A working knowledge of of product standards in relation to electrical products, such as CE marking would be beneficial.
