NEW QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER IN WHITSTABLE.
A leading manufacturer of a range of complex electronic applications for the military and aerospace industries are searching for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Whitstable, Kent.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will be responsible for managing customer quality concerns and rejects, ensuring quick containment, and driving effective resolutions to customer complaints.
Responsibilities as a Quality Assurance Engineer in Whitstable.
- Lead the investigation and containment of stock and Work-in-Progress related to customer-reported non-conforming products.
- Work closely with all departments and Manufacturing Engineering Quality Assurance (MEQA) to implement effective 5Y/8D Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA).
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), ensuring accurate recording of investigator activity and providing detailed reports to customers.
Requirements as a Quality Assurance Engineer in Whitstable.
- Experience conducting internal audits to AS9100 standards.
- Manufacturing experience with the ability to understand and solve manufacturing process issues.
- Experience with root cause analysis and CAPA
