QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER JOB IN FAREHAM
We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager in Fareham to join a multidisciplinary engineering organisation developing advanced hardware, software, and firmware for sensing products. This Quality Assurance Manager job in Fareham offers the opportunity to take ownership of quality systems within a highly technical engineering environment.
As Quality Assurance Manager in Fareham, you will lead the company’s Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 while supporting progression toward automotive standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, and AEC-Q100.
This Quality Assurance Manager role in Fareham is suited to someone with a background in electronics manufacturing or engineering (Production, Manufacturing, Process, or NPI Engineering) who has progressed into quality management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and support automotive standards
• Act as QA interface with customers and support product lifecycle activities
• Manage audits, non-conformities, and corrective actions
• Produce quality reports and drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and audit processes
• Experience in electronics manufacturing (PCB/PCBA desirable)
• Understanding of quality tools such as FMEA and continuous improvement
• Experience with internal and external audits
