JUNIOR ELECTRONICS/QUALITY ENGINEER JOB AVAILABLE IN EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND.
We are a leading R&D company that focuses on the design and manufacture of Medical Electronic Devices / Systems. Following another incredibly successful year we have more projects coming in that ever before. We see this as an opportunity to expand and invest more into our R&D facilities. As part of that we are looking for a Junior Electronics/Quality Engineer to join our team.
In this role you will work very closely with project managers, software engineers, and electronic design engineers, and test engineers, to ensure planned project activities are compliant with medical standards. You will work on complex medical device technology and develop complex electro-mechanical devices / systems for healthcare and life science applications. This Junior Electronics/Quality Engineer job comes with the opportunity to work on the development of ground-breaking medical technology. JOB REQUIREMENTS for Junior Medical Electronics Engineer:
- An understanding of medical device technology.
- Previous experience within an R&D / Electronics Engineering environment.
- Exposure to testing, developing and qualifying electronics.
- To have obtained a relevant Engineering degree.
- An understanding of medical safety standards would be beneficial but not essential.
