An exciting opportunity for an R&D Project Manager – HW / SW with a global leader in complex test and measurement products is available in Linlithgow, Midlothian. They are continually growing their design facility in Linlithgow and the R&D Project Manager – HW / SW will be a key member of the R&D management team, taking customer requirements and turning them into high-quality test solutions.
Responsibilities of the R&D Project Manager – HW / SW job:
- Lead multi-disciplinary Engineering teams to deliver new products and features
- Complete complex projects in line with budgets and NPI processes
- Work closely with Product Management to define product roadmaps
- Work with other teams to support quality initiatives and process improvement
Key skills / experience required for the R&D Project Manager – HW / SW job:
- High technical ability – educated to Degree level in Electronics, Software Engineering or equivalent
- Proven project management experience of complex product development
- Able to prioritise and respond to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Strong commercial and customer focus in decision making
