A very unique and exciting opportunity has come available for a Research Engineer – Opto-electronics / Microfluidics to join a leading research and development company in South Cambridgeshire.
As a Research Engineer – Opto-electronics / Microfluidics you will assist with the development of incredibly innovative biological instrumentation which is being used in medical / healthcare technology. You will be working on life changing and life saving technology.
As the company are investing and expanding their engineering team, we are looking for multiple engineers with exposure to optical or fluidic electro-mechanical systems.
If you have expertise in some of the following, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you:
- Optical design or Microfluidics.
- Mechanical CAD design using SolidWorks.
- Multi-layer PCB design.
- Exposure to electro-mechanical systems.
- Previous experience in a biopharma technology company in a research engineering, mechanical, opto-electronic OR PCB design capacity would be beneficial but not essential.
