A unique job opportunity has come available for a RF Design Engineer – Fibre Optics to join a fantastic research and development organisation based in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in the development of RF over Fibre products.
This job is uniquely positioned for an RF Design Engineer who has an interest in fibre optics / optical development. You will be provided with the necessary training and development to design a range of RF over Fibre receivers and transmitter modules. You will be part of a talent team of RF and Hardware Engineers based in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.
The RF Design Engineer – Fibre Optics will need to have the following skills / experience:
- Previous experience in RF design, ideally up to 6GHz.
- Full product lifecycle design experience (taking concept through to production).
- Experience with RF test and measurement equipment.
- An understanding of optical fibre solutions and RF to Optics conversions.
- Satellite communications industry experience would be beneficial but not essential.
