A leading High Power RF and Microwave Engineering organisation based in Middlesex, Greater London are seeking a RF Development Engineer to join their growing engineering team.
As a RF Development Engineer, you will work on development of high power microwave systems for aerospace, defence, marine and other harsh environments. You will gain training on the development of travelling wave tubes, and you will be actively involved in RF testing using various test equipment and CST for modelling and simulations. This is an incredibly rare opportunity to work on truly groundbreaking critical communication applications for variety of platforms. You would be based in the company HQ in Middlesex, Greater London, just above Heathrow Airport. The role comes with hybrid working (2 days working from home). RF Development Engineer – job requirements:
- An academic background in high power RF or Microwave Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of RF test and lab equipment
- A strong understanding of physics.
- Basic CST modelling or use of a similar design / simulation tool
- Knowledge of material properties, DFM and DFA
- Any exposure to tube engineering, vacuum technology or high power electronics would be useful.
