My client are seeking a Sales Application Engineer to join a multi-disciplined engineering team in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. This would be a great opportunity for a technical support or commissioning engineer with sales expertise to develop their career within this technology business.

Key responsibilities of the Sales Application Engineer job:

Act as Product specialist for advanced products (Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus and Modbus indicators & displays)

Provide technical support for advanced products

Provide product training to customers and partners

Create positive and long-lasting relationships with customers

Visits to customers & partners in the UK and international

Key requirements / skills required of the Sales Application Engineer job:

Technical expertise in process control

Experience with Fieldbus protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Fieldbus Foundation)

Experience with PLC programming and HMIs

Experience with process control including digital communication

Commercially astute
