We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team. The SDR will play a critical role in our sales process, focusing on lead generation, qualification and nurturing potential clients for our medical and biomedical refrigerators and freezers. This role requires a proactive approach to identify and engage with potential customers, understand their needs and generate interest in our products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in outbound sales, with a focus on high-volume calling and securing new opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through targeted outreach strategies including outbound calls, emails, social media and industry events.
  • Prospecting: Research and identify key decision-makers within targeted organisations and initiate contact to understand their needs.
  • Qualification: Qualify leads based on defined criteria to ensure they are a good fit for our products.
  • Engagement: Engage potential customers through personalised communication, which will include calls and meetings as well as e-mail and follow-ups to build relationships and create interest in our solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our medical and biomedical refrigeration products to effectively communicate features and benefits to prospects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and share insights on lead quality and market feedback.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, leads and customer interactions in the Hubspot CRM system.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, prospect feedback and market trends to the Management Team.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Experience in a sales development or lead generation role is essential.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the medical industry and the specific needs of customers in this field would be an advantage.
  • High Call Volume: Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of outbound calls, with experience in driving significant lead generation and opportunity creation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects, build rapport, and articulate Arctikos value effectively.
  • Self-Motivation: Highly driven and target-oriented, with a proactive approach to sales and a commitment to achieving high conversion rates.
  • Persistence: Tenacious and resilient in pursuing leads and overcoming objections.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (HubSpot) and lead generation tools would be desirable.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to understand customer pain points and propose relevant solutions.

 

Benefits

  • Salary:         up to £## per annum depending on skills and experience.
  • Working Hours:      Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 4pm
  • Holidays:    starting entitlement of 22 days plus Bank Holidays increasing each year to a

maximum of 28 days plus Bank Holidays.

  • Sabbatical:    one month paid sabbatical after 6 years.
