New Senior Digital Design Engineer – DDR, SRAM, SPI job available in Edinburgh, Scotland
We are looking for a competent Senior Digital Design Engineer – DDR, SRAM, SPI to join the team in Edinburgh, Scotland. You will be responsible for designinging microprocessors, memories and peripheral logic components such as DDR, SRAM, USB, SPI, PCI/PCIe, Ethernet, etc.). You will work closely with customers, engineering managers, and project managers to design from initial specification. You will gain the opportunity to work on projects for medical, life science, aerospace, broadcast, consumer, and telecommunications technologies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with high-speed digital design.
- Exposure to DDR, SRAM, USB, SPI, PCI/PCIe, Ethernet, op-amps, comparators, etc.
- Exposure to FPGAs (VHDL design experience would be beneficial but not essential).
- A technical and an academic background in electronics / hardware engineering.
- Strong communication skills.
