Overview
A Senior Electronic Design Engineer job opportunity has come available for a fantastic research and development organisation based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. This company design complex wireless systems and devices for security, aviation, healthcare, and retail industries. With recent additional multi-million-pound funding invested into new R&D they are looking for a Senior Electronic Design Engineer who would like to get involved in designing the next generation of products and be part of their multi-disciplined team in Cambridge. As a Senior Electronic Design Engineer, you will develop wireless electronic systems, incorporating radio frequency technology. The job comes with fantastic benefits, a friendly and enjoyable company environment, and opportunities to progress into Principal and Management level positions.
Skills / Experience required:
- Strong capabilities in analogue / digital circuit design.
- RF design experience (transmitters, receivers, antennas).
- Exposure to test and measurement equipment, such as network analysers, spectrum analysers, power meters, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Some experience with PCB design using Altium or similar would be beneficial but not essential.
- Full product life-cycle design experience (designing, verifying, and testing hardware).
