NEW SENIOR ELECTRONICS DESIGN ENGINEER JOB IN CAMBRIDGESHIRE
A successful, privately-owned technology business in North Cambridge are looking for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join their R&D team. They design and manufacture hardware and software for thermal imaging cameras used in the security, aerospace, military and industrial industries.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job:
- The design and development of new and existing thermal imaging products, which includes analogue and digital circuit design and PCB layout
- System integration projects and EMC and low Voltage product approvals
- Contribute to project development, both as a lead technical role and as project manager
- Work closely with the mechanical, software and production engineers on the design and development of products
Key skills required for the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job:
- Analogue and digital design including FPGA’s, DSP and microprocessors, PCB layout and power supply design
- Knowledge of EMC and low Voltage product approvals
- Any experience of infrared system design, optoelectronics and SoC solutions would be beneficial
