Published Description:

Following another very successful financial year, this company are looking to add 5 people to their engineering team. One of the main requirements for the business is to find a skilled Senior Firmware Engineer – FPGA / Embedded Software to join the team.

As a Senior Firmware Engineer – FPGA / Embedded Software you will be responsible for FPGA design, using VHDL, and embedded software programming, in C and C++. You will mainly focus on design for sensor based instrumentation, and electro-mechanical systems. 

Skills / experience required in this Senior Firmware Engineer job:

• FPGA design using VHDL. 
• Embedded software programming in C or C++ for microcontroller design. 
• Exposure to analogue / digital circuit design would be beneficial but not essential. 
• ASIC development would also be beneficial but not essential. 

You will work in brand new offices, walking distance from Ely railway station. This job comes with: 25 days annual leave, pension, and healthcare. Working hours are 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
