NEW SENIOR MANUFACTURING PROCESS ENGINEER ROLE BASED IN BORDON, HAMPSHIRE
Our client based in Farnham, Hampshire specialise in the design and manufacture of highly complex power supplies for the Automotive and Industrial industry.
Responsibilities as a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer in Bordon.
- Assess and improve existing manufacturing processes, focusing on through-hole electronics, wave soldering, and conformal coating to increase quality and efficiency.
- Lead efforts to upgrade equipment and processes, collaborating on capital improvement projects to drive plant modernization.
- Collaborate with vendors to introduce new technology and enhance the capabilities of current manufacturing equipment.
- Take on a leadership role, managing day-to-day operations and guiding the manufacturing team.
- Collaborate with vendors to introduce new technology and enhance the capabilities of current manufacturing equipment.
Requirements as a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer in Bordon.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with NPI and managing phase gate handoffs.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, particularly in electronics manufacturing.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (Six Sigma certification is a plus).
