A leading provider of technology and services to the global energy industry are looking for a Senior PCB Design Engineer to join their dynamic team of experts in Welshpool, Wales! My client is one of the world’s largest suppliers of complex drives and controllers for high-efficiency motors. These motors are used mainly for industrial applications in various industries. Their products will be found anywhere where you have an electric motor driving a system.
As the Senior PCB Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Provide technology and design process leadership to 5 other PCB Designers across 2 sites, guiding and navigating the team on challenging designs.
- Work closely and collaboratively with circuit design engineers, software engineers and product development managers to deliver optimal designs.
- Undertake complex designs themselves.
- Ensure designs are maintained and kept up to date during their entire product lifecycle.
- Liaise with PCB fabricators and PCBA factories to ensure integrity of data.
The Senior PCB Design Engineer must have:
- Several years’ experience in a relevant / similar role
- Electrical CAD & PCB Design
