A leading hardware communications business involved in designing haldheld radio-focused critical technology for government, defence, intelligence, and space industries are seeking a capable Senior RF Design Engineer to join their team in Hampshire, near Portsmouth. As a Senior RF Design Engineer you will design critical radio products with low power RF circuits and Power Amplifiers in UHF to SHF range (up to 20GHz). You will work on RF design and testing of wireless communication products from concept through to manufacturing stages.
Senior RF Design Engineer job requirements:
- Experience in RF Design of low power UHF transmitters and receivers.
- Exposure to Power Amplifiers design.
- RF development in the UHF to SHF range, ideally up to 30GHz.
- Discrete component and integrated circuit experience.
- Any experience with software defined radio systems would be beneficial.
- Applicants MUST be eligible for security clearance due to the nature of their work.
