One of the UK's leading Smart Audio and Smart Home design firms are seeking a Senior Software Developer – APIs, Web Services based in either Cambridge or London to design a range of complex cloud-based technologies. These devices will revolutionise the smart technology industry and will be used by some of the world’s leading consumer electronics audio brands.

As the Senior Software Developer/ Engineer – APIs, Web Services, based in Cambridge or London, you will be responsible for working with new and innovative web services, APIs, back-end databases and analytics using technologies such as Python, Node.js, Ruby on Rails etc.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Software Developer/ Engineer – APIs, Web Services will have:

– Expertise with a range of open source server-side web technologies and concepts such as

Python, JavaScript, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, OAuth, and REST

– Experience with web service software architecture and design

– Knowledge of database design issues and techniques on platforms like MySQL, MS SQL

Server, Redis, and more

– Experience of developing with REST APIs or other programmatic interfaces to apps or

devices
