About the Opportunity:
A leading UK engineering organisation based in Enfield is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join its growing team developing advanced radar and surveillance systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative, real-world defence applications within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a key role across the full systems engineering lifecycle, contributing to the delivery of complex, high-integrity solutions for UK and international customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, from concept through to delivery and in-service support.
- Work closely with software, hardware and mechanical engineering teams to ensure system integration and performance.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, specifications and reports.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, customers and external partners as required.
- Attend customer sites for system integration, testing and support when necessary.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering or science-related discipline.
- Proven experience in systems engineering, including design, integration and testing.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Methodical problem-solving approach and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as part of the role.
