NEW SERVICE TECHNICIAN ROLE FOR A GLOBAL LEADER IN HIGH VOLTAGE POWER CONVERSION BASED IN WEST SUSSEX
We are seeking a Service Technician to join our client’s service team based in West Sussex. The primary objective of this position is to service the power supply product range. The successful Service Technician candidate will be responsible for investigating and diagnosing faults, carrying out rectification work, and measuring and testing final assemblies and sub-assemblies to meet unit specifications and workmanship standards.
Key Responsibilities for the Service Technician:
• Evaluate units, investigate and diagnose fault conditions down to component level.
• Prioritize and plan work to meet output targets.
• Utilize SAP to order spare parts and components for rectification/repair work to units.
• Carry out modifications/rectifications and rework to units.
• Build test jigs, boxes or loads as required, or to simulate customer applications.
• Maintain and repair test equipment.
• Respond to customer queries.
• Conduct FA investigations on units to enable Quality to compile a Fault Analysis Investigation report.
Requirements for the Service Technician role:
• Ability to read, understand, fault find to component level and identify issues with circuit drawings.
